FSANZ approved proposals related to cell-cultured food and nutrition claims alcoholic beverages

The Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) announced the approval of the following proposals:
- A1269 - Cultured Quail as a Novel Food
- P1049 - Carbohydrate and sugar claims on alcoholic beverages
- P1059 - Energy labelling on alcoholic beverages
Once FSANZ has notified the Food Ministers’ Meeting of its decision, it has 60 days to either request FSANZ to review the approved standard or inform FSANZ that it does not intend to request a review.
