Ministry of Agriculture prepares for mandatory labeling of meat products

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has prepared a draft of product labeling and has published it on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts for discussion.
According to the draft, a range of permissible deviations in caloric content and the content of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in meat products will be established, which may reach up to 20%, taking into account their heterogeneous composition and possible errors in laboratory investigations.
