Irish Guidance Note 42 Cocoa and Chocolate Products

On 9, April, 2025, Food Safety Authority in Ireland (FSAI) published a guidance on cocoa and chocolate products. The guidance document provides information on cocoa and chocolate product manufacturing, ingredients added to chocolate products, food safety hazards and controls associated with cocoa and chocolate product manufacturing. It also provides information on the labelling of chocolate products and an example of a chocolate product label.
