MFDS publishes amendments to the labelling standard for foods with low salt and sugar content

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has published  Notice No. 2024-63, amending part of the Low Salt, Low Sugar Labeling Standard.

Within scope include dry noodles, boxed lunches, hamburgers, sandwiches and pizzas are added to products to which the Low Salt Labeling Standard can be applied, and cakes, muffins, pies, pies, ice cream, iced milk, frozen juice drops, iced fruit, coffee [liquid coffee (only for products containing dairy products)] and lactobacillus drinks are added to products to which the Low Sugar Labeling Standard may be applied.
