The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published Draft for the Use Restrictions and Labeling Requirements of γ-Aminobutyric Acid Produced by Microbial fermentation as a Food Ingredient. This draft regulation specifies the use restrictions and labeling requirements for the γ -aminobutyric acid (GABA) for food purposes.
