Draft order on the approval of requirements for jams, jellies, marmalades and chestnut puree

The Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine has prepared a draft order entitled "On approval of requirements for jams, jellies, marmalades and sweetened chestnut puree".
The elaboration of this order occurred within the framework of measures related to the Parliament initiative for the revision of the so called "breakfast directives".
The draft order proposes to approve standards on terminology, quality characteristics, marking and labeling of jams, jellies, marmalades and sweetened chestnut puree. The aim is to create conditions for informing consumers about the properties of these products, in particular through their labeling.
