New national standard for instant coffee

The Minister of Industry announces the Mandatory Implementation of the Indonesian National Standard for Instant Coffee (SNI 2983:2014). The Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 03/M-IND/PER/01/2016 has been revoked and replaced by the Regulation of the Minister of Industry No. 4 of 2025 on the Mandatory Implementation of Indonesian National Standard for Instant Coffee.
The Regulation covers the issuance of SNI certificate through Type 5 and Type 1b certification schemes, assessment of production process and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 or ISO 22000:2018 standards, including product quality testing based on SNI 2983:2024 with HS code.
Entry into force of the notified measure: July 24, 2025.
