Nutri-Grade system for freshly prepared beverages implemented

Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that from 30 December 2023, Nutri-Grade (Nutritional Grade) labelling requirements and advertising bans will be implemented to freshly prepared beverages sold in selected venues in Singapore such as retail environments (e.g. food and beverage (F&B) outlets, catering establishments, digital platforms) and non-retail environments (e.g. hotels, workplaces, educational institutions, healthcare organisations and childcare facilities).
Consumers who wish to add toppings such as pearls and jellies to their freshly prepared beverages will also have information on their sugar content.
