Anvisa publishes new Regulatory Agenda for 2024-2025

The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) has approved the Regulatory Agenda for the period 2024-2025. The document, published in the Official Gazette by Ordinance 1,409/2023, is made up of 172 regulatory topics belonging to 16 macro-topics including food. The Agenda has been drafted after a consultation period of 45 days. The macro-theme with the highest number of contributions was food. It should be noted that 106 out of 172 topics of the new Regulatory Agenda are related to the previous 2021-2023 program. The other 66 are brand new regulatory topics, not included in the previous Agenda.
