FDA updates regulations to good food hygiene practices

The Food and Drug Administration promulgated the revised guidelines on good food hygiene practices

The provisions on process and quality control, inspection and measurement control, documentation and record keeping, etc., were revised and the applicable objects of manufacture were extended to all food businesses.

It was implemented that those who modify the original storage and transport conditions must present reasonable reasons and grounds, and take samples of the ambient temperature in the transport compartment.

It was implemented that for those transporting goods with a set storage temperature in the compartment of transport equipment with freezing and refrigeration functions, a sample of the ambient temperature of the compartment or container must be taken, and that the ambient temperature of frozen food must not exceed -12 degrees Celsius.
