Ministry of Public Health sets contamination limits of ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol in 12 food additives

The Food Division of the Ministry of Public Health has issued a notification, which establishes strict contamination limits for ethylene glycol (EG) and diethylene glycol (DEG) in 12 high-risk food additives, and enhance import controls of involved products.
This communiqué is currently published in the Official Gazette and will enter into force ninety days after its publication. It is expected to become effective in October 2025.
