New rules on food for lactose-restricted diets

The National Institute of Food and Nutrition (INAN in Spanish) has published the "Resolution S.G. No. 786/2023 on Technical Regulations for the Commercialization of Prepackaged Foods intended for Lactose-restricted Diets".
The Technical Regulation applies to all prepackaged foods which don't contain or have reduced content of lactose, providing relevant definitions and applicable labeling requirements.
