MOPH amends labeling requirements for certain types of processed foods

The Thai Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has published the "Draft Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. ...) B.E ….Issued by virtue of the Food Act B.E.2522 Re: Labeling of Some Kinds of Prepackaged Processed Foods".

The draft Notification repeals some Notification of the Ministry of Public Health in order to in comply with the Food Act B.E.2522 (1979) and provides mandatory labeling requirements for husked rice, finished gelatin and jelly, sauces in sealed containers, bread, chewing gum and candy, meat products, ready-to-eat foods and ready-to-cook foods.
