Report on improving the effectiveness of nutrition scores on food nutrition labels

The Swiss Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (OSAV) released a report on improving the effectiveness of nutrition scores on food nutrition labels. Nutri-Score food labels are voluntary in Switzerland. The use of rating scale from A to E to inform consumers of the nutritional content of products clearly and this system has been supported by the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) since 2019.
