The Ministry of Health of Chile published the updated version of the nutrition labeling manual (3rd edition 2022).
The main objective of the Labeling Manual is to guide Small Food Producers on the correct nutritional labeling of the products they produce. It considers aspects such as the mandatory nutritional labeling in force since 2006 in Chile and especially the new labeling of the warning symbols "HIGH IN", when applicable, in addition to other issues related to food production and labeling.
