Revision of the food labeling standard

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety officially released the latest version of Food Labeling Standard. The new Standard is effective on January 1, 2024, except for the provision of set-packaged products sold online which is implemented along with the Standard's issuance.

Food and livestock products (hereinafter referred to as "food") include confectionery products, bread or rice cakes, ice cream, cocoa or chocolate products, sugars, jams, tofu or jelly, edible oils and fats, noodles, beverages, special nutritional food products and special medical use, seafood, soy sauce, seasoned foods, pickled or stewed foods, alcoholic beverages, processed agricultural foods, processed meat products and packaged meats, processed eggs, processed dairy products, processed seafood products, processed animal products, processed meat products and packaged meats, processed eggs, processed dairy products, processed seafood products, processed animal products, processed animal products, processed meat products and packaged meats, pickles or stews, alcoholic beverages, processed agricultural foods, processed meat products and packaged meats, processed eggs, processed dairy products, processed seafood, processed animal products, processed honey and pollen products, instant foods, other foods, edible eggs, chicken and duck meat and natural foods.
