Draft amendment on gluten-free food labeling published

On August 18, 2021, Law No. 21,362 was enacted, which amends several legal bodies in order to regulate the labeling, advertising and sale of gluten-free foods and other matters.
The present proposal aims to address the implementation of the matters indicated in said Law, referring only to the labeling of food products declared as "Gluten Free", updating the Supreme Decree No. 977/1996, Food Sanitary Regulation (RSA), of the Ministry of Health of Chile, mainly in the articles that refer to the provisions on the labeling "Gluten Free".
Open public consultation period until October 23, 2021.
