Standard on gluten-free foods

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) published a draft regulation on gluten-free foods. The scope of the draft technical regulation covers the following:
- Foods for special nutritional uses that have been prepared to meet the special nutritional needs of people with gluten intolerance.
- Foods intended for public consumption and which, by their nature, are suitable for consumption by people with gluten intolerance.
