Amendment to the Food Code on labeling food products published

On August 10, 2021, the Secretary for Health Quality published Joint Resolution 26/2021, which amends article 220 of the Food Code. Its new wording is: On the label of authorized food products in accordance with the Argentine Food Code, the National Product Registry number must be entered with characters no smaller than 1 mm, followed by the origin identification information. Food granted by the competent authority at the time of its sanitary authorization and which appears in the certificate corresponding to its authorization.
