Bill on labeling of foods with gluten approved by the Senate

The Senate room unanimously supported the bill that incorporates celiac disease and gluten into the legislation on food composition and labeling, highlighting the need to establish a public policy on healthy eating.

The proposal initiated in the Lower House, will be reviewed again by the deputies after the senators of the Health Commission approved a series of changes to the text, giving way to a third procedure.
