The Turkey Food Codex Guidelines on Food Labeling and Consumer Information prepared by the General Directorate of Food and Control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry were updated.
The updated Labeling Guide was published on the General Directorate page. The objective of TGK's Guide for the Regulation of Consumer Information and Food Labeling is âWith respect to the terms and expressions used in the label, promotion, presentation and advertising of food; provide correct information to consumers and prevent them from being misled, assist food operators in terms of the use of written and visual information, terms and expressions used in food labeling, presentation, promotion and advertising, and provide application drive in evaluations to be carried out during official controls.
