Health Ministries makes public their support on food labeling, which will come into force next April

The Health Ministry of Kemenkes is ready to support the Regulation BPOM No 31 of 2018 on Processed Food Labeling, and its adjustment period will end in April 2021.
The regulation of BPOM requires that condensed sweetened products include the following sentence written in red color, âDo not replace breast milk. Not suitable for young children up to 12 months old. This is not intended to be the only nutritional intakeâ on the package.
