MFDS Publishes a Public Consultation on Amendments to Genetically Modified Organisms Labeling

It is intended to improve the regulations on the transgenic products labeling to meet the international standards to promote the development of the food industry and also improving and being a supplement for those shortcomings in the operation of the current system by reviewing the provisions.
The MFDS suggested the approval of ânon-transgenicâ labeling on foods with less than 0.9% of transgenic material.
