PAHO, UNICEF and FAO support the prompt implementation of the decree on nutritional food labeling

Through evidence, the three agencies confirm the benefits of a prompt implementation of Decree No. 272/018 given that it regulates the frontal nutritional labeling of processed foods and beverages.
PAHO, UNICEF and FAO are holding meetings with representatives of the Executive and Legislative Branches with the purpose of informing the evident benefits of frontal labeling for the health and well-being of adults and children.
