Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) to require labeling of mandatory consumptions precautions for various nutrients in health functional foods

The government re-evaluated the safety and function of nine nutrients. Authorities plan to require the use of consumption disclaimers for 4 nutrients (β-carotene, Vitamin K and Potassium) . Functional claims related to chromium have also been added into the Health Functional Food Code.
