ANVISA extends the public consultation period of nutrition labeling

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) published in the Official Gazette the 30-day extension of the deadline to send comments and suggestions to the Public Consultations (PC) on nutrition labeling. The measure complies with Agency Ordinance 1,741 / 2018 that establishes the guidelines and procedures to improve the regulatory quality of ANVISA and the need for legibility studies by the sector. The deadline for contributions extends until December 9.
