Labelling of prepackaged foods

Myanmar Food and Drug Board of Authority published Directive for Labelling of Prepackaged Foods (directive order (8/2022). The Prepackaged Food Labeling Directive will apply to all prepackaged foods manufactured in the country or imported. The directive will come into force 1 year after its announcement and then there will be a corrective phase of 3 months for large enterprises, 6 months for medium enterprises and 9 months for small enterprises.
