Tolerance limits for foreign materials in foodstuffs

The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Spanish) published Resolution DRC No. 623, on tolerance limits for raw materials in food, general principles for their establishment and methods of analysis for compliance purposes.
This resolution applies to an entire food production chain and does not apply to aspects of fraud, impurities and defects that are established in specific standards.
