The Japan Consumer Affairs Agency (CAA) announced the finalised partial revision of the Food Labelling Standards based on the provisions of Article 4, Paragraph 6 of the Food Labelling Act (Act No. 70 of 2013).
Food labeling standards based on:
- Food composition tables in Japan.
- Genetically modified food labeling system.
- The Japanese Agricultural Standard for soy sauce.
- Rules on misleading labeling (Act No. 134 of 1958).
