New Regulation EU 2018/848 on production and labeling of organic products in force from January 1, 2022

The new Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of May 30, 2018, on organic production and labeling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007, comes into force on January 1, 2022. Among other new features, it establishes that imported products must meet exactly the same certification conditions as organic farmers in the EU.
