The objective of the consultation is to approve the Technical Regulations for the Identity and Quality of Hamburgers For the purposes of the proposal, hamburger is understood as "the industrialized meat product obtained from the minced meat of slaughterhouse animals, with or without the addition of adipose tissue and ingredients, molded in the form of a disk or oval shape. and subjected to the appropriate technological process".
Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA in Spanish) Ordinance No. 420 opens a 60-day period for public consultation on proposal of the identity and quality requirements for hamburgers.
