Authorities confirm commitment to implement front nutritional warning labeling

Director of Health Promotion and Protection at the Ministry of Health and Wellbeing, Dr. Simone Spence has confirmed that the Government remains committed to introducing front-of-pack warning labeling as a policy tool to promote healthier food choices, however, Dr. Spence reported that no final decision has yet been made on the specific format to be adopted.
“We are continuing to analyze the evidence and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the solution chosen is practical, effective and aligned with our national health goals,” she said.Dicol holds public meeting to discuss regulations for Infant Formula and Food Additives and Processing Aids
