FSAI publishes guide on cocoa and chocolate products

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has published Guidance Note 42 Cocoa and Chocolate Products. This guidance note is aimed primarily at Environmental Health Officers (EHOs). However, the guidance note provides useful information to which all food businesses in Ireland involved in the manufacturing or sale of cocoa and chocolate products can refer. This guidance note will help those working in relevant industries to understand and comply with cocoa and chocolate legislation.
