NHC/SAMR announces 50 new food standards

The National Health Commission (NHC) and the State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR) announce the publication of 50 new food safety standards and nine amendments covering areas the following topics:
- Standards on General Rules for Labeling of Prepackaged Foods.
- Standards on cereal complementary foods for infants and young children.
- Standards on food products such as “Fermented milk”.
- Standards on “Hygiene standards for the production of modified meat products”.
- Standards on quality specification of food fortifiers.
- Standards on quality specification of food additives.
- Standards on analytical methods for detection of food contaminants.
