FSSAI announces changes to its regulations on food labelling and display

The Food Safety Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has proposed amendments to the Food Safety and Standards (Labeling and Display) Regulations, 2020 through the publication of the draft amendment to the Food Safety and Standards (Labeling and Display) Amendment Regulations, 2025.
The proposed revisions focus on nutrition information, milk logo and labeling requirements for coffee and chicory blends, e.g., bold and larger font size for %RDA claims for added sugar, saturated fat and sodium, milk logo specifications and front-of-package labeling for coffee and chicory blend claims.
