INACAL updates Peruvian Technical Standards for food

The National Quality Institute (INACAL in Spanish) has published 3 Resolutions that update a series of technical standards related to food.
Directorial Resolution N° 027-2024-INACAL/DN approves the following technical standards:
- NTP 201.032:1982 (revised 2024) MEAT AND MEAT PRODUCTS. Determination of ammoniacal nitrogen content. 1st Edition Replaces NTP 201.032:1982.
- NTP 205.003:2016 (revisada el 2024). CEREALES Y MENESTRAS. Determinación de la fibra cruda. 2ª Edición Reemplaza a la NTP 205.003:2016 y a la NTP 205.003:2016/CT 1:2018.
- NTP 205.003:2016 (revised 2024). CEREALS AND CEREALS. Determination of crude fibre. 2nd Edition Replaces NTP 205.003:2016 and NTP 205.003:2016/CT 1:2018.

Directorial Resolution N° 029-2024-INACAL/DN approves the following technical standards:
- NTP 204.002:2011 (revised 2024) CANNED FISH. Classification according to the presentation of the contents. 2nd Edition Replaces NTP 204.002:2011.
- NTP 208.023:2015 (revised 2024) COCOA AND CHOCOLATE. Cocoa butter. Determination of moisture and volatile matter. 3rd Edition Replaces NTP 208.023:2015.
- NTP 208.106:2015 (revised 2024) CONFECTIONERY. Chewing gum. Determination of softening point with ring and ball apparatus on gum base. 1st Edition. Replaces NTP 208.106:2015.
- NTP 208.109:2015 (revised 2024) CONFECTIONERY. Determination of individual sugar content. 1st Edition Replaces NTP 208.109:2015.
