New proposals for canned fruit standards

The Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia issued a proposal to develop a standard for canned mixed fruits. The proposed technical standard describes the mixing ratio, mixed fruit specifications, composition, contaminant requirements (lead 1mg/kg, tin 250mg/kg), etc. and also includes packaging requirements, specifically related to pathogenic microorganisms, processing and product labeling.
