New Standard on fruits juices, nectars, puree and pulp

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (NBS) has published DUS DARS 472:2024, Fruits juices, nectars, puree and pulp - Specification, First edition. This Draft Uganda Standard specifies requirements, sampling and  test  methods  for  fruit  juices,  nectars,  puree  and  pulp  intended  for  direct  human consumption or for further processing.

This standard also applies to the following fruit juices:

  • Concentrated fruit puree.
  • Concentrated fruit juices.
  • Fruit juice from concentrate.
  • Water extracted fruit juice.
  • Dehydrated fruit juice.
  • Ruit juice powder.
