New standard  on fermented milk

The Mongolian Bureau of Technical Standards (BTS) has published the draft Standard for Fermented Milk (MNS 4229:2024) with a feedback period ending December 30, 2024.

This standard establishes requirements for the production, packaging, labeling, storage, transportation and inspection of various fermented milk products.

This standard does not cover probiotic fermented milk products, fermented milk products enriched with other biologically active substances and beverages obtained by diluting fermented milk products with water, milk or whey.
