47th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission to be held with emphasis on food labeling

The Codex Alimentarius Commission announces the 47th Session of the Codex Alimentarius Commission to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) from 25 to 30 November. The plenary sessions will be webcast in the six UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish and French). The plenary discussions will take place from 10.00 to 13:00 CET and 15:00 to 18:00 CET from Monday 25 November to Thursday 28 November 2024. Side events will be held on Friday, 29 November. Report adoption will take place on Saturday, 30 November from 10:00 CET.

- Revision to the Standard for Named Vegetable Oils (CXS 210-1999): inclusion of Avocado Oil.
