Authorities promote the development of the specialty food industry

The State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR) and the National Health Commission (NHC) announced the establishment of a “technical alliance and joint expert review” mechanism for the evaluation of new raw materials, new functions and standard formulation of specialty food to fully promote the innovative development of the specialty food industry.
The establishment of the “technical alliance and joint expert review” mechanism will play an important role in strengthening risk prevention and control, optimizing resource allocation, improving supervision levels and enhancing consumer confidence to improve the efficiency of registration supervision and promote the industry.
