New standard on edible macadamia oil

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KBS) has published DEAS 1223: 2024 Edible macadamia oil – Specification. This draft East African Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for virgin and refined macadamia oil derived from the kernel of the macadamia nuts of varieties grown from Macadamia integrifolia and Macadamia Tetraphylla and their hybrids intended for human consumption.
