FDA to revise natural mineral water food standards

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a consultation document to amend the Natural mineral Water Food Law. The revised requirements
- Amend the definition of natural mineral water to exclude water from natural sources.
- The type of natural mineral water added.
- Clear requirements for mineral water quality, such as not changing important compounds in natural mineral water.
