The Decentralized Service for Standardization, Quality, Metrology and Technical Regulations (SECAMER in Spanish) has published the draft Technical Regulation for meat products. The purpose of this Preliminary Draft Technical Regulation is to establish the characteristics and general requirements to be met by meat products intended for human consumption that are manufactured, processed, packaged, stored, transported, marketed and sold, whether national or imported into national territory.
