Codex Committee Peru encourages the inclusion of Sacha Inchi Oil in Codex Standards

The General Directorate of Environmental Health and Food Safety (DIGESA in Spanish) of the Ministry of Health, in its capacity as Chair of the Codex Alimentarius Committee Peru, presented a detailed report on the inclusion of Sacha Inchi oil in Codex international standards. Peru has many Sacha Inchi oil producers that would benefit on the international market from the inclusion of the oil into the International Codex Standards.
