Tanzania publishes draft standards on sugar cane syrup

On the 15th of May, the Tanzania Bureau of Standards published a new draft standard with specifications for sugar cane syrup. This Tanzania Standard specifies the requirements and methods of sampling and testing for sugar cane syrup intended to be used as raw material in food and other businesses such as catering purposes, soft drinks and pharmaceutical industries. The draft is open to comments from the public until the 14th of July.
