Mongolia finalizes study into antimicrobial resistance in cattle

Mongolia has concluded its inaugural pilot surveillance study on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in cattle. Funded by South Korea and implemented by the FAO's ACT project, the study was conducted by the State Central Veterinary Laboratory (SCVL). Researchers collected and tested samples from cattle for AMR pathogens. The initiative provides valuable experience and data for the International FAO Antimicrobial Resistance Monitoring System.
