New Standard on GMP for FSMP

The National Health Commission (NHC) has issued the GB 29923-2023 National Food Safety Standard on Good Manufacturing Practices for Foods for Special Medical Purposes.
The standard, which will replace the current version of 2013 starting from September 2024, applies to the production of food for special medical purposes. It specifies the basic requirements and management guidelines for the facilities, personnel, and processes involved in the procurement, processing, packaging, storage, and transportation of special medical purpose foods.
