New draft standard for Cheese

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KBS) has published teh "DARS 1073:2023 "Cheese – Specification". The draft African Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for cheese intended for direct human consumption or further processing.
The general standard applies in addition to any other existing standards for specific varieties of cheese.
