New Draft Standard on Edible meat co-products

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KBS) has published the draft standard "DKS2310:2023 Edible meat co-products – Specification". The draft standard prescribes the requirements for meat co-products intended for human consumption, which are defined as "animal products other than red or white meat muscles".
